MUSIC BY ALEXANDER PESKANOV
  • Piano Concerto No. 6 (Arranged for 2 Pianos)

    $18.00
Alexander Peskanov often refers to this G Major concerto as the Royal Concerto, published by Classical Video Concepts, Inc. The first movement, At the Royal Court, reflects the scenes of 18th Century English Royal Court. The second movement, Lacrimosa, which means "weeping" in Latin, begins with a little intro, a dialog between soloist and orchestra. Then, the piano introduces a beautiful melody that is repeated by the orchestra. A little Coda at the end is build on progression of diminished chords. The third movement, Pirate's Cove, starts with a happy tune, which piano plays alone, later joined by the orchestra. This concerto presents a great showcase for beginner students, and serves as a unique launching pad for much more challenging Piano Concerto Repertoire.
