The composer entitled this concerto “Concert Fantasy” since it is not written in a traditional format, and all three movements are written in different keys. Thus, it is filled with compositional freedom and inventiveness. Each movement represents a different mood, and incorporates contrasting rhythms. Piano Concerto No. 11 rises to the level of standard piano repertoire, while still being accessible to young pianists. It is orchestrated for chamber orchestra (Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello/Bass, Flute, Oboe). This package does not include 2 pianos arrangement.
