Mazurka (e-Print)

A mazurka is a Polish dance in 3/4 with an accent on the third beat. The composer, Alexander Peskanov, was always fond of Chopin and his Mazurkas, and was inspired to write his own. This piece is also a reflection of a poem by Adam Mizkevich - a sad story about a beautiful young Polish girl who is forced to marry an old man whom she does not love.
