Costa Rica (Digital)

A piano solo, Costa Rica was composed by Alexander Peskanov during his second Central American concert tour with Costa Rica National Symphony Orchestra. It was inspired by local Latin rhythms and rich melodies. The composer conceived the music the night before his performance of Rachmaninov Concerto No.2 in C Minor and performed his new composition as an encore before very appreciative and enthusiastic audience.
