Azery Rhapsody (Concerto No.13), I. Mugam, orchestrated by A. Peskanov for Chamber Orchestra. The package does not include piano part. Chamber Orchestra Insrumentation: Strings, 1 Flute, 1 Oboe, 1 Clarinet in B flat, 1 Bassoon. Azery Rhapsody is "the most technically advanced and musically demanding of Peskanov's concertos." Alexander Peskanov dedicated this work to the great Azerbaijani composer, Jevdet Hajiyev and Amina Dilbazi. It is featured in the recently released "The Pianist's Guide to Standard Teaching and Performance Concertos. Azery Rhapsody consists of three movements. The first movement, Muğam is a traditional type of folk song or prayer. It is based on "Mustar and Shahnaz modes.
