Azery Rhapsody (Concerto No.13), II. Leily and Majnun, composed and orchestrated by A. Peskanov for Chamber Orchestra. The package does not include piano part. Chamber Orchestra Insrumentation: Strings, 1 Flute, 1 Oboe, 1 Clarinet in B flat, 1 Bassoon. Azery Rhapsody is "the most technically advanced and musically demanding of Peskanov's concertos." Alexander Peskanov dedicated this work to the great Azerbaijani composer, Jevdet Hajiyev and Amina Dilbazi. It is featured in the recently released "The Pianist's Guide to Standard Teaching and Performance Concertos" (Karen Beres and Christopher Hahn). Azery Rhapsody consists of three movements. The second movement, "Leili and Majnun are the characters names from an Azerbaijani love story akin to Romeo and Juliet."
