Azery Rhapsody (Concerto No.13) is "the most technically advanced and musically demanding of Peskanov's concertos." Alexander Peskanov dedicated this work to the great Azerbaijani composer, Jevdet Hajiyev and Amina Dilbazi. It is featured in the recently released "The Pianist's Guide to Standard Teaching and Performance Concertos. It is based on "Mustar and Shahnaz modes. The second movement, "Leili and Majnun are the characters of , names from an Azerbaijani love story akin to Romeo and Juliet." The third movement of Azery Rhapsody, Dilbaz Horses is "unrelenting, driving toccata captures the galloping nature of this famous breed of horse from Azerbaijan.
