The first movement is written in classical style and is inspired by the symphonies of Haydn. The second movement is reminiscent of the early operatic works of Gluck. It begins with a short recitative in the orchestra, and is followed by the soloist performing a beautiful melody, much like an aria. The theme is well-distributed between both hands. Movement three is written in rondo form, and includes engaging rhythms in 2/4 meter.
