My Baby's Rag was composed by Peskanov for his second child, David. The music of this rag imitates the "baby's walk". It's written in ABA form. It has some "spicy" harmonic progressions and unusual but appealing key modulations. My Baby's Rag is a delightful encore that allows student to demonstrate technical skills and good rhythm.
